Dr. Tabitha Werblud

Dr. Tabitha Werblud graduated from Bastyr University, School of Naturopathic Medicine in 2004. At the Tahoma Clinic she treats chronic health issues such as IBS, fibromyalgia, metabolic syndrome, chronic fatigue, cardiovascular disease, endocrine problems including menopause, and weight gain.  While physical medicine is a specialized  modality for Dr Werblud, she is a well-rounded naturopath with emphasis on nutritional medicine, judicious use of supplements, homeopathy, lifestyle counseling, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.

Dr Werblud believes a partnership and trust between the doctor and patient is critical for success.  We believe a collaborative effort for patient care at the Tahoma Clinic has been an essential component of our success  since the clinic first began in the 1970’s.  Our doctors collaborate on cases once weekly.

Dr. Werblud completed a BA in Religious Studies, with honors, from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1997.  While completing her undergraduate studies, she was a research assistant in multiple studies conducted in the Emergency Department at the SUNY Stony Brook Medical Center, and the New York Veteran’s facility located on the same campus.  Dr. Werblud brings her research experience to design and  implement clinical studies with Dr. Wright and other physicians at Tahoma Clinic.

Patient education is one of the most valuable tools for patient success. This element of practice is critical, as patient education allows for understanding of the process of healing and compliance with suggested protocols.

When not in the office, Dr. Werblud enjoys physical training, reading, cooking, conversation, and pleasant surprises. She currently studies Shoulin White Dragon kung fu, and teaches Sports Yoga at Macabee Martial Arts in the Columbia City neighborhood of Seattle. Dr. Werblud lives in Seattle with her three fabulous children, and various pets.
